Antonio Garzón Durán
Partner

Attorney Garzón Durán is the youngest lawyer in our firm. Despite his youth, he began shaping his legal career before completing his university studies, demonstrating his commitment to the profession and his eagerness to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to be a competitive lawyer.

During his formative years, he had the opportunity to work at a well-known national firm, handling tasks in the Public Registry department. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of the internal workings of the entity and the procedures carried out there.

As a university intern, he became involved in the Special Labor Jurisdiction, providing services in Conciliation and Decision Boards. He participated in numerous hearings as an observer, fully understanding the stages of the processes heard in that jurisdiction. Additionally, he assisted in the judicial secretariat and contributed to the drafting of judicial resolutions. While continuing his university education, he provided services in the Directorate of Free Legal Advice and Defense for Workers. In this institution, he actively participated in hearings held both in Conciliation and Decision Boards and in the Sectional Labor Courts. During this period, he honed his skills in drafting various legal documents, such as powers of attorney, lawsuits, appeals, oppositions to appeals, among other related writings.

He completed his university studies, graduating with honors in Law and Political Science. However, after the enactment of Law 350 in 2022, which regulates the practice of law in Panama, he had to attend the Initial Training Program for the Practice of Law and subsequently take the professional exam before obtaining the certificate of suitability. Attorney Garzón Durán was part of the pioneering cohort in completing the program, successfully passing the exam, and thus qualifying for the practice of law on his first attempt.

Currently, he continues to advance his education by pursuing a master's degree in Commercial Law. Additionally, he provides his services to the Family and Labor Jurisdiction as an absentia defender.

With early experience and a constant commitment to staying updated, Attorney Garzón Durán is well-equipped to offer comprehensive and top-notch advice on labor and commercial matters, precisely tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
